Tribe connects people in the local community who are seeking support, things to do, or ways to meet others, with volunteers and with activities such as events, groups and clubs that meet their needs or appeal to their interests. Choosing Tribe gives you access to a wide range of local support from your community that fits with how you like to live your life, providing independence and helping you to live in the place you call home longer. Support includes both paid and voluntary support, access to events, groups and other activities.
Tribe is independently audited by ORCHA and TEC Standards. We meet NHS Data Security and Protection Tool Kit safety standards, as well as Cyber Essentials accreditation.
Tribe’s community guidelines and standards have been written independently by the Social Care Institute of Excellence.

For groups advertising on Tribe, such as community and voluntary organisations, activities and volunteer roles there is no charge to use Tribe.If there is an issue between a support recipient and support provider we encourage both to discuss any issues if you are comfortable doing so. Explain what you are unhappy about and see if you can work together to find a solution. If you remain unhappy you can end your contract and if appropriate report to Tribe and the local authorities.
If a support provider has concerns about a support recipient, they should decide if it is appropriate to do a safeguarding report to their local council safeguarding team.
