I’ve worked as a housing officer, resettlement officer, homelessness officer, support worker, emotional child support worker and specialist mentor for high risk violent offenders. I moved to the area in June; I’m a single parent with a teenage son. My interests are motorbikes, kayaking, camping, scuba diving and occasional horse rides. I’m happy to provide company in any outdoor pursuits and general activities eg cinema, shopping, days out, open to most suggestions. I am currently at capacity.

The services I offer are, Medical Appointments - Walking Companion - Reducing Loneliness/Isolation - Carer Respite - Hobbies & Activities - Supervising For Safety - Animal Care Assistance - Coffee Mornings & Film Afternoons - Socializing With Friends/ Family - Shopping Trips - Attending Church Groups/ Clubs - Supported Dog Walking - Or Just A Cuppa And A Chat!

I am experienced in advocating for older people and enabling people’s voices to be heard. I believe in respecting the unique worth of every individual. Throughout my career, I have gained a lot of experience and skills working in specialised fields – people with dementia, autism, cerebral palsy, people with epilepsy and Parkinson’s. I have worked as a Co-ordinator for Well Being in a care home and as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I am looking forward to continuing my career supporting the people in Aberdare and RCT.
