YES is a free service that offers teenage career advice, support and guidance to young people in the East Sussex area. Commissioned by East Sussex County Council, we work specifically with young people aged 16-18 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), and those who are vulnerable and at risk of being NEET. Our advisers work with young people on a 1:1 basis and offer support and guidance specific to individual needs. We work on an Action Plan with our young people to agree their next steps and how to achieve their goals; short and long term. We support young people to plan their next steps and help them progress further with their choices, exploring: College Options Other training opportunities Apprenticeships Work experience Employment and job searching Completing application forms Practising interview skills Creating or updating a CV Onwards referral and other support service
