They are in need of drivers, able to transport elderly persons from their homes to their medical appointments at whatever hospital or clinic is required. They cover the TN22 area surgeries as well as hospitals at Brighton, Haywards Heath, Eastbourne, East Grinstead, Crowborough, Redhill, Lewes, Bexhill, Pembury, Guildford and Hastings. Drivers will only be required to give up a few hours of their time. Mileage expenses can be claimed. This is an extremely flexible position to volunteer for, you’ll be able to offer your time as and when it suits you, and be helping out enormously people who would otherwise struggle to reach their needed appointments, or vaccinations.
